Our family LOVES to travel to Missouri. In our opinion, Kansas City is one of the best Midwest cities to visit with young children. Arcadia Valley is beautiful with stunning state parks and rich history. Don’t forget St. Louis home to the remarkable City Museum.

Upcycling old dolls is a trend I had heard about online a few years ago, but personally I never bought one. After receiving her doll, my daughter wants more. She loves the 10 inch doll and is looking forward to taking it on some of our own travel adventures.
Making Friends at the Zoo
In Making Friends at the Zoo, readers will learn about recycling and environmental awareness as they meet Olivia. Olivia is an elementary age student who is in a new school and trying to make new friends. She finds her passion during a trip to the St. Louis Zoo.
As Olivia explored ways to help the environment, my daughter and I chatted about the things we do here in our home like using the recycling program, donating unused items, buying from thrift stores when possible, and cleaning up trash as we hike and enjoy nature.
I love the concept behind this book series and look forward to reading more books about kid’s traveling and taking class field trips. It would be awesome to see books like this for our National Parks Program.
