When most people hear about Reiman Gardens, it’s because of the butterflies! But there are also 17-acres of beauty to enjoy!
Reiman Gardens has two indoor conservatories: Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing and Hughes Conservatory. Both have relaxing water features and would be enjoyable in the winter.
The whole garden appeals to children!
Each May Reiman Gardens participates in American Public Garden Day. Guests can receive FREE admission. Please check for times and benefits change each year. When we visited, the garden was busy but not overly crowded.
I was surprised how much the kids loved the garden and we visited for two hours. We really could have stayed longer!
The kaleidoscope in the Children’s Garden was impressive. The flower box turned so that the designs change. In the barn kids can learn through hands-on activities.
The kids LOVED this wooden play structure and we spent over half hour here! Each year the themes and art work change.
We really enjoyed our visit and would consider a membership! It’s not expensive and if you lived in the area it would be a wonderful place to visit often!
A membership is connected to the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admission Program.
